Nepali AI Company Fusemachines Makes History with NASDAQ Listing

Fusemachines, a global AI solutions provider founded by Nepali entrepreneur Dr. Samir Maskey, is poised to become the first company of Nepali origin to land on the prestigious NASDAQ stock exchange. This landmark achievement follows a definitive agreement for business combination with CSLM Acquisition Corp., a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), announced on Tuesday.

Founded in 2013, Fusemachines empowers businesses worldwide to embrace AI through its proprietary AI Studio and AI Engines, regardless of their digital AI maturity. With operations across Asia, Canada, USA, and Latin America, Fusemachines boasts a diverse talent pool cultivated through its flagship AI Fellowship programs. This unique combination positions the company to deliver industry-specific and problem-specific AI solutions with high ROI for clients like TIME and OTG.

The company is currently valued at US$200 million, or Rs. 25 billion. Through this merger, Fusemachines will get working capital of about US$ 20 million, enabling the company to create new products and accelerate growth.

This historic NASDAQ listing marks a significant milestone for Nepali entrepreneurship and innovation, symbolizing the immense potential of Nepali talent in the burgeoning field of artificial intelligence.

With great pride, the NAS-IT family congratulates the NAS-IT member company Fusemachines and team on their groundbreaking achievement and acknowledges their contribution to extending the boundaries of AI excellence.
